Description
We have been developing this model for almost two years. The demands placed on the design were therefore high: a shallow draft, excellent maneuverability, a spacious interior, comfortable, graceful, excellent course stability and also fast sailing. In short, a fast boat with the comfort of the classic sloop.
In House designer Jan-Pieter Vredeveld certainly had no easy task. In addition to the above requirements, he also had to take into account the wishes of some of our loyal customers, who have been closely involved in the design from the start. And of course the yard itself also had a large number of wishes and requirements. The new model not only had to be easy to build, but of course also had to achieve the highest standard quality with which the Enkhuizen sloops have become known. “Some wishes are difficult to combine”, says Jan-Pieter Vredeveld about this design assignment. “Enkhuizen sloops can have a lot of wind, so they remain well controllable and safe. This requires a certain hull shape and a sophisticated underwater hull. In addition, our customers want a spacious and comfortable interior that is equipped with all modern conveniences. Sometimes you need some creativity,” he says with a sense of understatement.
The hull shape of the new model invites you to sail in a very wide range of sailing areas. Due to the shallow draft and the clever way in which the hull lets go of the water, the boat pulls few waves in shallow water. A boat with respect for river banks and other water sports enthusiasts. On larger waters a high speed can be achieved, even with low motorization, because the hull planes quickly. This means that a large distance can be covered in a short time and in complete comfort.
Speaking of comfort the 630 is equipped with a robust and safe electrical system so that all modern aids can be reliably integrated. In addition, the boat offers sufficient space to spend the night. the necessary facilities for this new model.
